BBO(β相偏硼酸鋇晶體,β-BaB2O4)是由中國科學院物質結構研究首次發現和研制的新型紫外倍頻晶體
BBO晶體的主要優點:
可實現相位匹配的波段范圍寬(409.6—3500nm)
可透過波段范圍寬(190—3500nm)
倍頻轉換效率高(相當于KDP晶體的6倍)
光學均勻性好
高損傷閾值(100ps脈寬的1064nm10GW/cm^2)
溫度接收角寬(55℃左右)
BBO晶體的主要應用:
Nd:YAG和Nd:YLF激光的二,三,四,五倍頻
染料激光的倍頻,三倍頻和混頻
Ti:Sappire和Alexandrite激光的二,三,四倍頻
光學參量放大器(OPA)與光學參量振蕩器(OPO)
氬離子,紅寶石和Cu蒸汽激光器的倍頻
在全固態可調激光,超快脈沖激光,深紫外激光等高、精、尖激光技術領域的研發領域
